!Bobby died from Cancer at the age of 46. He knew he was dying and had just
completed a trip to Texas from Arizona to see his children. He was able to
visit everyone except Gary Wayne and Michael Lee who are both in the service
and stationed out of the area. His funeral was held in the Chapel of The
Chimes Mortuary on the corner of 59th and Northern in Glenview. There was not
a preacher at his funeral. A Eulogy was read by one of his friends. On top
of his coffin was a fifth of Jack Daniels whiskey, a Budweiser beer mug and
a can of coke. A pack of cigarettes was in his shirt pocket. He was dressed
in an open collar western shirt and brown western blazer with a cowboy boot pin
on the lapel. Most of those in attendance were dressed casually. The night
of the funeral, the bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey was drank by his friends and
the empty bottle was placed atop his grave. His grave is located at the
Resthaven Cemetery on Northern Street in Glenview, Arizona.
